Approaches to Implementation

Step 1 | Each school is unique and therefore the implementation of CTF will look different in each building based on factors such as:

  1. The physical layout
  2. School operations
  3. Teacher specialty
  4. Student interest
  5. Community

Step 2 | Through the Integrated Middle Years Report the CBE identified approaches to integration as identified below:

Example one

students take CTF complementary course, students create a project in CTF Cluster complementary course, students complete cross curricular project by linking learning back to core subjects












Example two

school is completely inter-disciplinary, students take course courses, create projects and have opportunity to complete them in each area of the CTF clusters












Example three

school has CTF cluster-based courses, students complete projects in CTF Courses
