CTF is…

  • a shift from CTS based outcomes to CTF outcomes
  • a move from scarce resources to school based resources
  • a shift to competency based learning from discipline based outcomes

CTF History

  • from 2008 – 2011 the CBE participated in a three-year pilot called "The Integrated Middle Years Learning Framework"
  • the pilot engaged teachers with the draft CTF Program of studies to leverage a change in teacher practice
  • from research completed on this project we have created a CTF Framework for schools to implement this new Program of studies
