Scales of the 1950's

This is an old scale from the 1950's or 1960's.  Its colour is an excellent way to tell how old it is.  The "sea foam" green colour that you see on the scale tells us that it is probably from the 1950's.  This was a very popular colour in the 1950's.  People painted their houses with this colour, had their bathroom fixtures made in this colour and even decorated their stores and cars with this colour as well.

The scale also has only imperial weight not the kg scale that we use today.
