School in the 1950's

Sitting in rows, never speaking without putting up your hands, wearing your best clothing, the strap, and blackboards; these were all important parts of schools in the 1950's. 

This projector is probably from the early 1960's.  It would have been used to show students photos as a part of their learning.  Televisions, VCRs, computers, and Power Point presentations just simply did not exist for these children.  Children mostly depended on their teachers and text books for their learning.
