Mutiny on Mars
Astronauts have landed safely on Mars, and are sick of playing video games and reading books for entertainment. Therefore they split into two groups and put on their airtight suits for further exploration of the planet. After getting into their land rover, one group headed North, and the other group headed South to check out the craters. A layer of frost stopped the first group from continuing and they had to head back on foot. When they got home, they were exhausted, took out their frozen meals, warmed them up, and ate most of them. Using the radios, they contacted the other astronauts that were still exploring in the Southern Hemisphere and told them to get back quickly as weather monitors had shown dust storms approaching. After a long day of hard work, all the astronauts climbed into their sleeping bags and fell asleep.
The next day, when the northern group woke up all their food was gone and the southern group was nowhere in sight. There was a letter saying that the southern group didn't want to work with them because they were researching things for the wrong reasons. Using the last of their resources, the first group ventured out to find the other group. " This will be a dangerous mission and we might not survive," quoted Captain Hugus as he looked at the giant dust devils swirling past them. They found the other group hiding in a crater braving the dust storms and hoarding all of the food. For more updates on this story read the next issue.
