In October and November 2011, two grade 3 classes (3A and 3B) from Hawkwood School spent five days at the Campus Calgary Cross Conservation School.  The following student created websites showcase their learning and reflect their developing understanding of the value of conservation in their community.  The guiding question for the students was, “What is the transforming power of imagination?”  Students’ research, documentation, sketches, photographs and personal reflections point to their growing realization that knowledge, awareness, and careful observation pave the way to new discoveries.
