Haiti Earthquake
Haiti’s disaster happened on January 12, 2010.
Many people died.   There was more than 50 aftershocks .  More than 300,000 people were killed.  People      
put mattress, blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags,
for the people to sleep on.  They put all these things in the parking lots. People had to get pulled out of the
ground.
 
 
Hawkwood helped by donating money to The Red Cross.
Students who donated put their name on a hand. We raised 4200 dollars.
